P.C.E.A. Satellite church started in the year 1973 in a semi – permanent structure
which was initially a city council Nursery school. It was lead by Rev. Geoffrey
Kaburugu Muriu together with Rev. Moses Waweru who brought people together
because there were scattered.
The sub-chief allowed members to construct the church which was completed in
1974 with about 30 members, 2 Elders and 3 deacons.
The church grew and a permanent church was constructed which took about
10years to complete and was dedicated in 1999.
PHYSICAL GROWTH
The following are milestone of the church growth:
Membership was over 100 with all the church groups and committees with
14 districts with 14 district elders and 3 retired elders
Bought a plot in 2001 and construction of Manse house structure was
completed in the year 2003
Purchased plots in Ngando area in 2007. A semi-permanent church named
Tumain was completed in 2008 under the leadership of Rev. Daniel Nguyo.
